Alongside our Leadership Development Programme (LDP), we offer those at university a number of different opportunities to boost employability skills and engage with Teach First's mission to put an end to educational inequality in the UK.
Our Taster Programme is a unique one day opportunity to engage with Teach First and start developing the skills and attributes needed to progress to employment after university. Designed exclusively for students in their early years of study, the Taster Programme will enhance your employability through a series of workshops and give you an insider’s view of the career opportunities available to you after completing our LDP.
Our Insight Programme is a two-week snapshot of the LDP, allowing you to drive your own development as you attend training sessions on leadership and teaching theory, and then go into the classroom to deliver your own inspirational science, technology, engineering or maths (STEM) lesson..
We recruit Brand Managers to help us raise awareness of Teach First on campus. This is a part-time, paid role with flexible hours which will see you running events, promoting the opportunities that we offer to students and acting as a point of contact at your university. If you are passionate about addressing educational inequality, have great communication skills and strong levels of initiative and organisation, this could be the perfect role for you.
You can play a crucial role in increasing understanding of the problem of educational inequality in the UK by forming a Teach First society at your university. Help us spread the word amongst your fellow students by hosting events, debates and other awareness raising activities, as well as helping to raise the funds needed to run our access programme, Futures.
