Our LD Programme

The Commitment

Teach First is a demanding option, delivering enormous responsibility very early in your career and you will need a great deal of commitment and perseverance to complete the programme.

However, simply surviving is not enough – Teach First is about excelling and encouraging others to do the same. For this reason we purposely set the bar very high. We have a number of specific expectations of you on the programme, over and above your commitment and enthusiasm:

• Successful completion of the Summer Institute
• Achievement of your teaching qualification
• Completion of two years full time teaching in a school and completion of your school’s induction requirements
• Complete the commitments of the Leadership Development Programme
• You will constantly work within the Teach First values – Collaboration, Commitment, Excellence, Integrity and Leadership.
