Lawrence Drew (’04) Ambassador
Studied Biochemistry, Bath
Now Director, Owl Tutors
I think the most memorable memory I had from being on Teach First was setting up a number of Basketball teams. None existed prior to my arrival. The kids really got involved with it and a lot of pupils in the school joined up. I was able to use it as a tool to improve on certain pupil’s behaviour by using basketball games as a reward for them doing well in their classes. It was quite popular with the other teachers as it did help improve behaviour but it was also a huge amount of fun and I’d really recommend it.

It’s a big ask.
