Events

We run a number of events throughout the year on and off campus across the UK. Events are open to anyone interested in applying, not exclusively university students. Our events are hosted by our recruiters who are there to talk you through our application process and answer any questions you may have about the Leadership Development Programme. These events are also a great opportunity to network with other applicants, current participants and our ambassador community.

Check out the list of events we currently have planned across the country and register your attendance online.

Changing career coffee drop-in sessions

Caffe Nero - More London

For anyone considering joining the Leadership Development Programme (LDP) from another career, we are holding coffee drop-in sessions with a member of our Experienced Hires recruitment team so you can get all your questions answered.

The LDP is a salaried two-year programme encompassing high-quality training, supportive coaching, and a fully funded PGCE qualification. You'll retrain as a teacher in one of our partner schools and, whether or not you decide to remain in the classroom, the experience and skills you'll gain will change your life, and your pupils lives.

Almost a quarter of our 2014 cohort are people who came from other careers. We believe their wider experience of life and work makes a vital contribution to our drive to end educational inequality, create greater inclusion in education, and raise standards in the classroom.

To be eligible for the programme we ask for a 2.1 degree and 300 UCAS points.

Applications for 2016 are open, so book a timeslot with your Experienced Hire recruiter and find out how we can support you in your application and transition into the classroom. Tea and coffee will be provided.
