Events | Teach First

We run a number of events throughout the year on and off campus across the UK. Events are open to anyone interested in applying, not exclusively university students. Our events are hosted by our recruiters who are there to talk you through our application process and answer any questions you may have about the Leadership Development Programme. These events are also a great opportunity to network with other applicants, current participants and our ambassador community.

If you’re someone who’s considering changing career to join our Leadership Development Programme, we have regular coffee and phone appointments running across the country, so you can get your questions answered. For more information, contact to be connected with a dedicated experienced hires recruiter. Please make sure to tell us which part of the country you’re based in.

Check out the list of events we currently have planned across the country and register your attendance online.

Teach First employer presentation - for students in St Andrews

University of St Andrews

Give every child the belief that they can achieve anything. Develop skills that can take you anywhere. Come along to our presentation to discover how Teach First can support you to become an inspirational leader both in and outside the classroom, wherever your career is heading.

The link between low socio-economic background and poor educational attainment is greater in the UK than almost any other developed country. It is one of our biggest social injustices. Through our groundbreaking, two-year Leadership Development Programme,we are building a movement of leaders dedicated to changing that.

Join us at this presentation to learn how our graduate opportunity enables you to make an important social impact, while also offering you a career-defining opportunity to gain a formal qualification in both teaching and leadership. You will also find out how you can get involved with our mission while you are still at university.

Refreshments will be available afterwards, along with opportunities to speak to our recruiters and individuals who have already completed our programmes.

Become part of a powerful and dynamic force for social change.
