It's great teaching Maths because I know it's a subject that will have a massive impact on the pupils' lives, in terms of job applications or going to university.Sugra Alibhai Watson (’05) Economics
Beyond two years
What happens after the programme?
Our vision, that no child’s educational success be limited by their socio-economic background, goes beyond your minimum two-years of teaching – demanding as that will be. To support your continuing commitment to the vision, and upon successful completion of the Leadership Development Programme, you will become a part of the ambassador network.

Through the ambassador network you can continue to:
- Connect with one another and the wider Teach First community
- Work with others to develop new ideas to complex problems
- Increase your influence as a leader, in whatever you choose to do next
At the moment, 54% of ambassadors are in teaching positions throughout the UK; this means that at the same time, nearly half of the network is able to influence change in business, the third sector and government through alternative careers.
United by a unique insight into the challenges schools face, experience of what works, and the expertise and commitment to continue addressing the Teach First vision, this is a powerful network for social change.
