UCL Library Access
Ah, the university library! Such a strange and bewildering place that seems to lie undiscovered until final exams come by. Not anymore....
HEAPS has managed to secure 30 of you with a full tour of the UCL libraries, you will learn how to search for the books you need and discover all other services that university libraries offer. This will not only give you a chance to learn how to get the most from the library but a 2 month period of reference access means you can also get hold of books and journals that will support your personal statement.
The experience itself will be a bonus on your personal statement and you can use it to prove those vital, independent study skills. Oh and believe me, many of the university reading lists are composed of some hard to find titles that UCL will almost definitely have, If you don't believe me follow the link and search for them under 'library catalogue' before you go: UCL library
As usual all this is free and offered uniquely to HEAPS students.
The first group went on Friday 4th July and had a fantastic tour and a real insight into student life. Their access period runs til 12th September.
There will be another tour in October 27th with access til December (just in time to help with coursework) and a final tour in January with access til March.
HEAPS strongly recommends you take up this unique opportunity.
